1. START/FINISH
Start and finish of the stages in the Tour de Leutasch are located in Weidach/Leutasch.

2. STARTER PACKAGE
The starter package for €80 includes the following services:

  • Starting number
  • Present for participant
  • Route map/altitude profile
  • 3 coupons for Pasta Party
  • Catering at the finish points of the stage races
  • Catering in the 12 km race and in the marathon on the route
  • Finisher medal

3. START CHECK/STARTING LINEUP
The starting lineup is half an hour before the stage. The starting numbers will be checked at the entries to the starting blocks.

4. START
The start is in Weidach/Leutasch to the:
I. stage qualification night sprint, on: 27 February 2009, as of 12 a.m.
I. stage first runnings night sprint, on: 27 February 2009, as of 2.30 p.m.
I. stage final night sprint, on: 27 February 2009, as of 6 p.m.
II. stage, on: 28 January 2009, at 9 a.m.
III. stage, on: 01 March 2009, at 10 a.m.
Anyone who is not at the start 5 minutes beforehand cannot start the race.

5. DISTANCES
I. stage “night sprint”:
- route qualification about 5 km
- single start, interval 30 sec.
– starting list is included in the starter package
- The 32 fastest of each category come to the four first runnings (about 3 km)
- fastest and second fastest of each category come into the final of the night sprint (about 1.5 km)
II. stage “mountain and valley race”: scenic and challenging 12 km route
III. stage “king stage”: 42 km, Gunderson method, on the Ganghoferlauf Leutasch route

7. CATERING
On the route in the marathon and in the 12 km race are enough catering points. There is catering at the finish
line on all stages. There are enough catering places on the route. You can get mineral beverages and energy
bars, water, bananas, apples, cakes etc. Please do not forget to drink and eat enough also during the race. The disposal of waste of any kind causes disqualification.

8. PASTA PARTY
All participants receive a coupon for the Pasta Party on:

  • FR, 27 February 2009, as of 6 p.m. (ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad)
  • SA, 28 February 2009, as of 6 p.m. (ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad)
  • SO, March 2009, at 11 a.m. (ErlebnisWelt Alpenbad)

9. RATING
There are the following categories:
- Men
- Women
- Master

10. PRESENTATION CEREMONY/LIST OF RESULTS/TROPHY MONEY
After the single races the preliminary ranking will be compiled. The presentation ceremony takes place on
Sunday, 1 March 2009 at about 12.15 p.m. in the festival tent in Weidach. We ask the 3 winners of each category to come to the presentation ceremony. Report at the Speaker on the presentation ceremony.

Attention: Payment of the trophy money will be made directly after the presentation ceremony in the accreditation. In default of appearance we will hold a drawing for the amount. Result lists on the homepage!

12. CHECK POINTS
There are up to three check points in the second and third stage which the participants do not know before and which have to be passed by them. There each starting number will be entered. Each participant who does not pass these check points receives a time penalty of 60 minutes.

13. SIGNAGE
The whole route is signposted with 30x30cm big coloured arrows. The signage is on every branching.
Anyone who changes the signage will be withdrawn from the race.

14. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE RACE
Participants who do not reach the finish line of the route have to drop out of the rating of the race and are obligated to report personally at the festival office. If this does not happen, the organiser reserves the
right to start a search operation at the participant’s costs with the corresponding rescue team. The
transponder and the starting number have to be stated in the accreditation

16. SHOWERS/CHANGE ROOMS
Showers and change rooms are in the Erlebniswelt Alpenbad Leutasch in Weidach.

17. ACCREDETATION/RACE OFFICE
Accreditation and the Race Office are in the Erlebniswelt Alpenbad Leutasch in Weidach.
